Description
This is my first Hero Concept, so expect the wording to be clunky and the numbers to be off. Apologies.

While I get this will never happen, one of the things I love about Heroes of the Storm is how it combines radically different universes together. I thought it would be really cool if the Avatar universe arrived at the nexus! I plan to do a concept for every Element (I'm thinking Zuko, Toph and Aang as Assassin, Tank and Multiclass respectively).

ANYWAY, AS FOR THE ACTUAL HERO:

Katara is meant to be about managing a limited resource- her water supply (mana). She has only brought a limited amount to the battlefield, and though she can reuse it- almost all of her abilities require it! She has to manage this resource carefully- sort of like Sonya with Fury.

Her main damage comes from Water Blast (how does the damage number look?) which is meant to be a slow moving skillshot (the water is in use in mid air, and also while charging it up- think Chromie!). She can Chi Heal two targets, racking up some great healing numbers- but losing access to her CC- or she can forfeit a different strength. Its a juggling act.

Or at least, thats the intention. I've created this at 2A.M, so maybe the hero just dosen't work. I'd love to hear your feedback, since this was a lot of fun to make but I'm really clueless about game design

Cooldown: Passive
Ice Sheet extends outwards 50% faster
Drenched
After leaving Chi Healing on a hero for 5 seconds, increase its healing by 15%

When you stop channeling Ice Sheet, deal 91 damage to all enemies.
Borrowed Water
While a Healing Fountain is nearby, increase your maximum mana by 40 . Abilities cast with this mana do not refund mana.
Heavy Hitter
Water Blast deals 50% more damage, but travels 50% slower

Cooldown: 60
Activate to place yourself in Stasis and gain Invulnerability for 3 seconds.
Bitter Frost
Mana Cost: 10
Cooldown: Toggleable
Active: Your Auto Attack becomes Melee, but deals 25% extra damage and slows enemies by 25% for 1.25 seconds
Spiritual Aura
Chi Healing also heals allies nearby the target for 50% the amount.

Tidal Surge
Mana Cost: 100
Cooldown: 60
After 1.5 seconds, unleash a massive wave of water that pushes heroes forwards, healing allies for 128 per second and stunning enemies that collide with terrain for 1.5 seconds .
Blood Bending
Mana Cost: 100
Cooldown: 60
Channel an enemy hero for 3 seconds, forcing them to attack nearby enemy heroes

Ice Block
Cooldown: 60
Activate to place yourself in Stasis and gain Invulnerability for 3 seconds.
Whirlpool
Mana Cost: 30
Cooldown: 30
For up to 7 seconds, Slow nearby enemy movement by 10 % per second, stacking up to 50%
Chi Blast
Water blast heals allies for 50% its damage
Cleansing Waters
Cooldown: 60
Active: All friendly heroes with Chi Healing on them become Unstoppable for 1.25 seconds

While at 75 Mana or more, gain 25 Armor
Foggy Swamp Style
Water Blast can now hit up to the 3 heroes and slows enemies by 25% for 2 seconds
Overflowing
Chi Healing can be cast multiple times on the same hero

Can redirect the wave twice during the duration

Altough the concept is cool, it will never happen.Blizzard will only puts its own franchises in the game it just makes sence that way.The most renovating thing I can see them do is to allow DC superheroes and that only cause they had made a super old game for the super nintendo(I think) based on the justice league.Regardless as a fanmade concept this is really cool great job!
Yea I addressed this in the Description, its totally wishful thinking. Although since Destiny 2 is on Battle Net, we could see some other crazy Activison guys- Crash Bandicoot would be hilarious.
Tho I love the idea of Avatar characters in heroes, I feel like her trait is more of a bad thing than a good one. Maybe buff it a little bit so I don't feel like my trait is something bad
The idea is a bit like Gul'Dan or Auriel. Its not nesscarily a good thing.

Theoretically, the idea is if she had mana she would be overpowered, being able to use all 3 abilities- but because of her limitation, she has to manage it- she can't just place a Chi Heal on everyone!

Maybe the numbers could be tuned up, I'm pretty clueless about number balancing in general
