W-build (safe) Nova
This Nova build is a lot safer than the standard Q-build and depends on the AA active playstyle. Attacks from farther away, less dependent on Q (the Q-build's damage depends on the upkeep of the Snipe baseline quest). One downside is the build is mana hungry compared to Q-build, but not hungry enough.
Increases the cast range of Pinning Shot by 30%. Pinning Shot also increases the range of Nova's next Basic Attack by 2.
The increased range helps to dish out AA damage safely.
Reduces Holo Decoy's cooldown and Mana cost by 50%.
Ran into a little mana problem without the level 7 Q-talent. So, mana cost reduction seemed best, along with the cdr, which helps the level 7 talent in return. Bribe stacks are also good in maps with lots of mercs.
One in the Chamber
After using an Ability, Nova's next Basic Attack within 3 seconds deals 60% additional damage.
Ability, AA, repeat. (Remember: any ability)
After a 1.5 second delay, deals 435 damage to enemies within an area. Unlimited range.
Global ulti always good. Great for follow up damage after using W. It also doubles as a Global lane clear tool.
Pinning Shot now has 2 charges, but its cooldown its increased by 2 seconds.
2 charges means more value from the level 7 talent. Coupled with 16, armor reduction for a long duration.
Pinning Shot lowers a Hero's Armor by 20 for the duration of the Slow, causing them to take 20% increased damage.
Armor reduction very good in TF as well as solo kills. Explosive round is also good for the wave clear, but not worth without going full Q imo.
Activate to reset the cooldowns of your Basic Abilities.
Spam abilities button. Double charge on ulti upgrade is viable when enemies lack the means to change lanes quickly in large maps.
