Mother Knows Best | Owlbuddy's Ana Build

Hey everyone, I've been playing a ton of Ana lately in Hero League and have had a pretty good time with it. With over 20 games played and a 70% winrate this season I figured I've give my thoughts on the best build to run with her.
1
Piercing Darts
Quest: Hit Heroes with Sleep Dart. Reward: After hitting 10 Heroes, Sleep Dart now hits 2 Heroes and its range is increased by 25%. Reward: After hitting 20 Heroes, Healing Dart now hits 2 Heroes and its range is increased by 25%.
This level one talent is easily the most important in her entire kit. Once completed it doubles your lock down, doubles your immediate self-healing or self-peeling, AND doubles your healing. It is of the utmost importance to finish this quest ASAP. It may feel awkward using this off cooldown at the start, but you truly want to spam these darts until it's finished. Once you reach 10 stacks, it becomes easier, but landing these skill shots is SO SO SO important.
4
Overdose
Sleep Dart applies 4 Doses. While Aim Down Sights is active, Sleep Dart pierces all enemy Heroes.
This will provide Ana with some immediate self-healing stacks, a little extra damage, and it is overall more consistent with the play style than the other choices. Especially once your darts are hitting two people at the same time, you'll start getting some pretty good regen without putting yourself in danger.
7
Mind-Numbing Agent
Every Dose a Hero has reduces their Spell Power by 10%.
Overall, this is the play. Once paired with your level 4 especially, you'll start shutting down a lot of ability damage and can potentially keep it shut down for the entire duration of a fight. If the enemy team only has AAs then the blind can also work well. Debilitating Dart is very strong, but requires a skillshot to actually hit which can be inconsistent. Not to mention a lot of the times, the person you want to shrink ray is usually a hyper carry like Genji or Tracer, and good luck hitting them with a narrow and questionably slow moving skillshot.
10
Nano Boost
Instantly boost an allied Hero, restoring 200 Mana. For the next 8 seconds, they gain 30% Spell Power and their Basic Ability cooldowns recharge 150% faster.
Nano is busted when used correctly. Watch your loving mages pop off and wipe the enemy team while sipping tea. Try to coordinate this ability as best as possible.

Side note : I love Eye of Horus but you should really avoid having to take it if you can help it.
13
Smelling Salts
Healing Dart removes Stuns from the target, and grants them 50 Armor for 2 seconds when doing so.
I put the stun cleanser here because thats usually the most important thing to cleanse, but Purifying Darts is actually insane against the right comps, especially if you are against a Deckard or Arthas. It not only cleanses the slows and roots, but ALSO increases the heal by 20%. I actually find myself taking purifying as much as possible, provided the enemy team isn't hard stun lock down like Dehaka.
16
Sharpshooter
Healing Dart's healing is increased by 5% each time it heals a Hero, up to 50%. This bonus is reset if Healing Dart fails to hit a Hero.
So in theory Concentrated Doses should allow you to heal more. However I've found that recovering in a teamfight or handling poke damage is actually much more difficult as you may not be able to get a sleep dart off or AA for doses. I think Sharpshooter is just overall better due to the consistency of it (provided you aren't missing healing darts all day [in which case Ana may not be for you haha])

Side note: I love contact healing especially if I meme it up with grenade build. But you probably shouldn't do that.
20
Nano Infusion
Allies affected by Nano Boost heal for 50% of Spell Damage dealt.
So usually you want Nano to heal so that way your mage can pop off without the worry of death, but sometimes, if you need extra peeling especially versus dive, Somnolent Doses can work wonders.

Side note: Take Dynamic shooting if you're killing the enemy core for maximum building DPS.
