McIntyre's Competitive Valla Build - Who's the Mage now

Valla the staple when it comes to ranged heroes has not transitioned into a flexible mage burst role or sustained AoE damage role. This flexibility is what has her picked earlier in draft and what makes her such a strong hero to pick. Have double support? Go full hyper carry build. Have low healing? Go full burst sustained build. Both can be powerful and aid Valla in getting the W. This build will focus on the Burst Sustained build but will have notes on the hyper carry build
Monster Hunter
Reduces the Mana cost of Hungering Arrow by 40 and increases the damage it deals to Minions, Mercenaries, and Monsters by 150%.
Great vs any sort of PvE as it allows you to get bosses and merc camps insanely fast, the mana return is also not a joke in order for you not to go OOM which you will anyways

Hyper Build: Hot Pursuit, always keep this stacked to allow you to play aggressively with your supports behind you
Puncturing Arrow
Quest: Hitting an enemy Hero with the initial impact of Hungering Arrow increases its damage by 5, up to a maximum of 100. Reward: After gaining 100 bonus damage, gain an additional 75 bonus damage and Hungering Arrow also bounces 1 additional time.
Spike Talent, once you get this quest done your burst from two q's and a rain of vengeance will burst a backline out and pressure most front lines. Try to get this stacked early so you scale into the late

Hyper Build : Multishot to pair with your level 1 and create pressure on entire enemy team
Repeating Arrow
The cooldown for Hungering Arrow is reset when Vault is used.
More q's more problems. JK a core talent to the q build allowing you to shoot two quick q's with a crit auto. Great for bursting people out of position

Hyper Build: Multishot again, applying pressure to the entire enemy instead of just 1 target
Rain of Vengeance
Launch a wave of Shadow Beasts that deals 250 damage (+4% per level) and stuns enemies in the target area for 0.5 seconds. Stores 2 charges.
Rain is great self peel, great follow up, and good damage. Typically the better of the two ults

Strafe is good with auriel to generate hope and also great when paired with a reset hero like genji/liming to soften the enemy team or vs high single target healing (monk/uther)
Siphoning Arrow
You heal for 75% of the damage dealt to Heroes by Hungering Arrow.
If you are 30% health and hit both q's you will be full again, bait people with this

Hyper Carry: Gloom vs heavy burst/ Tempered Vs Sustained
Frost Shot
Increases the range of Multishot by 20% and it also slows by 25% for 1.5 seconds.
I always go frost shot as it provides safe poke/cc and is great for chasing. Manticore isn't terrible against slow frontline
Farflight Quiver
Increases your Basic Attack range by 40%.
Too OP, almost always farflight under you need insane auto damage then go rancor
