Main tank Varian

A build to get you as tanky as possible.
Lion's Maw
Quest: Every time Lion's Fang hits a Hero, increase its damage by 5, up to 120. Reward: After hitting 25 Heroes, the slow is increased to 50% and its duration is increased to 2 seconds.
Increased slow > big dick deeps.
You're supposed to be a tank, damn it!
Silence a target Hero and force them to attack Varian for 1.25 seconds. Passive: Maximum Health and Health Regeneration increased by 40%.
Second Wind
Basic Attacks heal Varian for 1% of his maximum Health. While below 50% Health, they also heal him for 50% of the damage dealt.
Gives you the most consistent healing.
Can be swapped for Lionheart if the enemy team likes stacking up, and you can hit multiple heroes at once.
Victory Rush can be useful on some maps, if the objective is located close to a lane.
Shield Wall
Parry grants Protected, preventing all incoming damage while active. Additionally, Parry's cooldown is reduced by 5 seconds, but it loses 1 charge.
Swap out for Warbringer if enemy team are heavy on auto attackers.
Mortal Strike
Heroes hit by Heroic Strike receive 40% reduced healing for 4 seconds.
Swap out for Shattering Throw if the enemy uses shields (Artanis, Johanna, Fenix etc.)
Banner of Ironforge
Activate to place a Banner that grants Resistant to nearby allied Heroes, reducing damage taken by 20%. Lasts 12 seconds.
All three options are viable depending on enemy team comp, and how the game is fairing.
Demoralizing Shout
Activate to demoralize nearby enemy Heroes, reducing damage they deal by 45% for 5 seconds.
I prefer Demo shout. But can be swapped out for Vigilance if the enemy team is heavy on auto attackers or Glory to the Alliance if you feel that might be a better option for your comp and/or play style.
