The Consistent Zul'jin Build





This build is great for consistent output with Zul'jin. This has stronger early-game pressure than playing with Headhunter and Arcanite Axes, and depends less on getting 5/5 kills on the enemy team. Other builds might be flashier or better in complete fiesta games, but this path will give you reliable results.
Grievous Throw now pierces through all enemies hit and restores 15 Mana per Hero hit. Additionally, Grievous Throw's mark is no longer removed by Basic Attacks.
Amani Hide
Lower the cooldown of Amani Rage by 10 seconds and gain 15 Armor while you are regenerating Health from it.
Amani Hide default.

Voodoo Shuffle vs roots/slows that you'll need to get out of (Thrall Feral Spirit, Anduin Chastise, etcetera).

Troll's Blood if you have very little healing on your team and don't need Shuffle.
Vicious Assault
Increases the number of charges to 6 and the duration of Grievious Throw's effect by 3 seconds. Basic Attacks against afflicted Heroes reduces cooldown by 2 seconds.
Q synergy is huge. More uptime + more dmg is huge. (This site has the description bugged, it actually increases duration by 3s and dmg of the mark by +35%).
For the next 4 seconds, Zul'jin is Unkillable, and cannot be reduced to less than 1 Health. Taz'dingo!
Eye of Zul'jin
Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes grant Zul-Jin 6% Movement Speed for 2 seconds, up to 30%.
Mobility is huge on an immobile backliner. More ability to dodge, escape, chase, whatever you want to do.

Ensnare can be a good choice as CC follow-up.
Wrong Place Wrong Time
If an enemy is hit by both Twin Cleave axes at the same time, they take an additional 100 damage and count as 5 Hero hits for You Want Axe?.
Wrong Place Wrong Time default. The stacking is nice but the burst is huge, and can even contribute to your siege pressure.

No Mercy! into heavy armor. Garrosh melts into this!

Let the Killing Begin can be strong on maps where you're AAing a lot out of fights and keeping the buff up. Consider this on Infernal Shrines (the shrine guardians count as "enemies"!).
Amani Resilience
Increase Taz'dingo's duration by 1 second. Upon expiring, Zul'jin heals for 50% of the damage he dealt during Taz'dingo.
Do as much damage as possible during Amani Resilience (remember that any damage on ANY target counts!) for EZ self Ancestrals x)
